Prompt: what does Love feel like?
A series of twelve images on six lenticular frames, Prompt: what does Love feel like? experiments with the possibilities and limits of AI — its interpretation of the feeling of “love” is contrasted with the artist’s own.
AI models such as ChatGPT and Midjourney were utilised to explore how love is visualised in the eyes of machine learning. Visually, hyper-stylised images generated juxtapose those shot by the artist.
AI is valued for its ability to emulate human cognition and understanding. Yet, let us stop to ask: What does AI know about love?
