Teng Han, 24, is a photographer based in Singapore. Currently, he is pursuing his degree at the School of Art, Design and Media at Nanyang Technological University.
Through mediums of still and moving images, he delves into the intricacies of the human experience and our connection with the world around us. He aims to provoke fresh perspectives by creatively presenting concepts about our existence and our relation to the environment. Photography, to him, serves as a tool for understanding—a method of exploration, documentation, and expression. While he strives to evoke specific moods and narratives in his work, he also pays careful attention to the presentation of his photographs within installations, emphasising their forms and arrangements. He also enjoys the medium of film photography and is keen to explore fashion as a mode of expression and identity.
